Bio:
Ana holds a degree in Social Communication from NOVA University Lisbon (FCSH), where she also completed a master’s degree specializing in Cinema and Television.
She began her professional career at RTP – Radiotelevisão Portuguesa in 1989, working in several programming areas across the Fiction, Classical Music and Entertainment departments. Between 1993 and 2012, she worked as a freelance television producer, director and scriptwriter for several audiovisual and independent production companies.
Throughout her career, she has also worked in institutional communication and digital marketing, including at Turismo de Portugal / Visit Portugal.
Since May 2023, she has been Executive Director of the Portugal Film Commission, contributing to the promotion of Portugal as an international filming destination and supporting audiovisual production in the country.
