Bio:

David COURET is Director of Technical Solutions Distribution & FAST/CTV Partnerships at France 24. After 5 years at BT Media & Broadcast, he joined the channel in the early stages of the project and set-up the EMEA satellite distribution network, extending to worldwide coverage by 2011. Subsequently David developed the mobile distribution project, which allowed France 24 to become the 1st TV channel to broadcast live on the iPhone in February 2009. After a first big screen OTT application launched in 2012, since 2018 David has also worked on the new OTT applications for Connected TV, operator STB and streaming devices. Having set up the France 24 FAST channel for European distribution in 2023, the past 2 years have been dedicated to increasing distribution of the channel on platforms around the globe with presence in US, Canada, Asia/Pac and Middle-East. Future projects include creating new linguistic versions of the FAST channel.
