Bio:

Helen O'Donnell is VP of Content & Creators at BBC Studios and the founder of BBC Studios TalentWorks. In her role, she leads and is accountable for the editorial vision, creative direction, strategy, and performance of BBC Studios’ Digital Entertainment content portfolio across all platforms, spanning digital, social, and creator-led initiatives.

She has a strong track record of creating and launching award-winning content with creators, most recently leading BBC Creator Lab for BBC Public Service and driving major collaborations with TikTok, YouTube, and Meta. Helen was the inaugural Chair of the BBC Studios Next Generation Board, focused on reinventing the BBC for the next generation.

Helen has over 15 years’ experience as a producer and performer across the cultural and creative industries in the UK and internationally. She sits on the Mayor’s Cultural Leadership Board, is a Trustee of Vault Creative Arts, has been part of the production team at Machynlleth Comedy Festival since its launch, and is a core member of Do Not Adjust Your Stage, a critically acclaimed company blending science, arts education, and live theatre.
