Jose Fragoso

Bio:

José Fragoso (Lisbon, 1963), as a journalist/reporter, was a founding member of the private radio station TSF (1988), of the leading private newspaper Público (1990) and of Portugal's first private television channel, SIC (1992). He was editor of the news division of SIC (1999-01); director of the news division of the cable news network SIC Noticias (2001); deputy director of the news division of the public television channel RTP (2001-02); director of RTP International and RTP Africa (2002/03). Director of TSF (all-news radio format) (2003); Director of Programmes at RTP1 and RTP International (2003/08); General Director of Content at the private company Prisa TV, TVI (2011/13); In Angola: Media Consultant at TPA, Angola's public television (2013/2015) and Media Consultant at the private Angolan television company, ZAP (20016). He is currently programme director at RTP1 and RTP International since 2018.
