Bio:
Gus Grimaldi is the Head of Samsung TV Plus EMEA, one of the world’s largest streaming services – available in 30 territories with more than 88 million users worldwide. He has over 20 years of international experience across product management, strategic marketing and technical development roles. Having previously managed digital consumer products across media, gaming and lifestyle services and successfully maximising user engagement and monetisation, his current role focusses on spearheading content acquisition and business strategy for Samsung TV Plus for EMEA.
Since joining Samsung in 2020, Gus has been instrumental in achieving exponential growth to the media services business, expanding Samsung TV Plus reach to 16 European countries & MENA with over 1300 streaming TV channels. He also led the product, marketing and technical teams to deploy new media services to Samsung mobile devices and tablets in 2021.
Following a strong commitment to new product innovation, Gus launched Samsung Gaming Hub in 2022 in Europe, enabling play of triple A games in smart TVs and monitors without requiring a gaming console.
