Bio:
Tim Werner has been Chief Executive Officer of Mainstream Media AG since 2019, a company that operates pay-TV channels such as Romance TV, Heimatkanal, and GoldStar TV.
Before assuming this role, he had already spent many years within the company, serving as COO of Romance TV and as a member of the Management Board.
Tim Werner began his professional career at ZDF Enterprises, where he worked for around a decade in various management positions, gaining valuable experience in the media industry.
In addition, he serves as Managing Director of Mainstream Networks Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of Mainstream Media AG with international channel operations in Poland.
Under his leadership, Mainstream Media AG has increasingly focused on digital transformation and expanded into new formats such as ad-supported streaming channels (FAST channels) to reach additional target audiences.
Alongside his role as CEO, he has been a member of the board of VAUNET since 2020, representing the interests of German pay-TV providers.
